Privacy Policy
This draft explains how ElSaber handles information collected through elsaber.app. It is not final and is pending legal review.
1. Data controller
The data controller is El Saber LLC. This policy is still a draft pending legal review; treat this page as informational until it is finalized. Privacy requests: privacy@elsaber.app.
2. What we collect (waitlist)
When you join the waitlist, we store:
- Email address
- The time you joined
We do not collect full names, birth dates, precise locations, telephone numbers, religious or philosophical beliefs, health or mental-health information, or reasons for subscribing via this form.
3. Purposes
- Waitlist: notify you when the ElSaber app becomes available, if you opted in.
- Marketing: send newsletter or promotional email only if you separately opted in.
- Compliance: retain evidence of consent and honor withdrawal requests.
4. Consent
Submitting the waitlist form is your request to be notified when a seat opens. We do not add you to a separate marketing list. You may withdraw at any time by emailing privacy@elsaber.app.
5. Confirmation email
We do not send a confirmation email yet. Joining is complete when the form succeeds. A double opt-in step may be added later.
6. Retention
Waitlist and marketing contacts will be retained only as long as needed for those purposes or as required by law, then deleted or anonymized. Exact retention periods will be set with counsel.
7. Processors and security
The website and waitlist are hosted on Cloudflare (Workers and D1). A signup notice is sent to notifications@elsaber.app. These processors are not permitted to use ElSaber lists for their own advertising.
8. Tracking and advertising
This site launches without nonessential tracking. We do not use Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags, device fingerprinting, or behavioral advertising scripts on elsaber.app. Cloudflare Turnstile is used only to block automated waitlist signups.
9. International visitors
We use GDPR-oriented consent as a global baseline. Local laws (including Brazil, India, China, and others) may impose additional requirements; this draft will be updated accordingly.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent via privacy@elsaber.app.
